Substation design and construction is a specialty with a Customer base that includes Provincial, Municipal and Private Utilities, Public and Private power producers, Remote and First Nations communities, Mining companies and the Forestry sector.

PowerTel's project list details the range of electrical services offered.  Some major accomplishments include the interconnection of three remote First Nations Communities on the Western James Bay Coast to the Provincial 138 kV transmission system.

Another major success story for PowerTel is the construction of the 115 kV substation, diesel generating plant and switch room at the DeBeers - Victor Diamond Mine west of Attawapiskat, Ontario.

PowerTel is extremely proud of installations of all electrical systems including Northland Power 105MW Kirkland Lake Cogeneration Plant and the construction of three 230 kV stations for the Brookfield Power Prince Wind Energy Project.
