The variety of system voltages and configurations in Ontario and other regions requires PowerTel’s expertise. We keep that expertise by utilizing the facilities and professional services of the Electrical and Utilities Safety Association (E&USA). PowerTel has a big apprenticeship program that develops the linemen required for this work. We also work very hard to keep the awareness and abilities of the existing line crews and supervisors up to date with continuous monitoring and training.

The requirements to operate in the electrical industry are very serious. The understanding of job planning, safe work practices, qualified workers, good supervision, worker protection, certified equipment and system protection are required. The integrated Safety and Quality Management System at PowerTel ensures the customers have a well planned and executed project.
